Do you offer free, no obligation consultations? Yes, we offer free, no obligation consultations! There is NO REASON not to contact us today to talk about getting rid of those funky, funky nails for you! They’re obviously bothering you!
Does it work? We wouldn’t be offering the service if it was not effective! Some infections are worse than others, but the majority can be removed with enough treatments. This is also a safer alternative to the oral medications prescribed for fungal nail infections, which have been linked to liver failure and death.
Will it hurt? There should not be any pain or even mild discomfort. Merely a mild, warming sensation. If there is any pain, it is caused by a build up of heat in the digit being work on and can be alleviated by merely taking a break from treatment and allowing your body to naturally cool itself.
How long before I see improvement? As you know by how often that you trim your nails, they grow very slowly. The laser treatments will kill the fungus, but will not suddenly make the infection disappear. New, healthy nail will begin to grow outwards from the base of your nail. You may be able to see a difference after one treatment, but noticeable improvement will not be apparent until several treatments in.
What are the side effects? On rare occasions, there may be some redness, tenderness, or persistent heat, all of which will normally resolve within 24 hours.
How much does it cost? Treatments start as low as £30/session. Price is determined by the number of digits being treated.
Will I need more than one treatment? Yes. For a mild to moderate infection, you can expect to need three to four treatments. More treatments will be needed for severe infections.
Can the infection return? Unfortunately, the answer is yes, but that is more a matter of whether you properly follow the aftercare instructions. Although your initial infection was most likely not your fault in any way (you probably stubbed your toe), a recurring infection will most likely occur if you maintain an environment conducive to fungus growing.
